Open rank statistical bioinformatics position
By casshyr on December 11, 2014
Dear Sharon Ruschkowski,
I am trying to reach bioinformatics Ph.D. graduates who may not monitor the usual venues for statistics job ads, yet may qualify for our bioinformatics faculty position. Please share this opportunity with qualified soon-to-graduate or recent graduates of your bioinformatics education program(s).
I am chairing the search for an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Statistical Bioinformatics with home in the Department of Statistics at Iowa State University. This is a tenure-eligible position. We seek a candidate who can contribute to the development of statistical methodology and computational strategies for large, complex biological datasets, collaborate with biological scientists, and enhance the University's efforts in bioinformatics education and research through leadership and vision. Potential applicants can visit https://www.iastatejobs.com/postings/8128 to learn more. They may also call (515-294-1457) or email me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Karin Dorman, PhD
